Dr. Paithankar is a mining engineer with over four years of professional experience in the mining industry. He graduated from Michigan Technological University in 2020 with a Ph.D. in Mining Engineering. He has expertise in stochastic production scheduling and cut-off grade optimization. He has authored several peer-reviewed technical papers and has presented at various international conferences. He has experience with mineral resource estimation and analysis, mineral reserve calculations, mine planning, and optimization, mine economic evaluation, geometallurgical modelling, and data analysis. He has competency in a variety of mining software suites, namely Geovia Surpac, Geovia Whittle, SGeMS, Leapfrog3D, and Carlson. He also has experience with coding and is competent in Matlab, R and Python.
